IBM and Systech International

Venue: Avari Towers, Karachi
The event was organized to create awareness about IBM products Maximo and Tririga among the potential clients as well as to rope in some new prospective clients. Maximo was pitched as Enterprise Asset Management solution and Tririga was introduced as Facilities Management and to improve occupancy experiences and energy management with IBM Watson IoT.
Two of the experts in their subjects Mr. Timothy Ricketts (Maximo) and Mr. Jens Lundgren (Tririga) were flown in from UAE especially for the event. They were ably supported by Mr. Shams Ladak (Maximo EAM), Ms. Sophia Hasnain (IoT) and Dr. Masood Raza (IoT & AI).
Apart from personnel from IBM and Systech International, representatives from various industries were in attendances. All in all there were 28 participants from industries such as Banks, Pharmaceuticals, Power Generation, Educational Institute, Health Care, Manufacturers and Logistics.

Session was interactive and speakers were asked several questions by participants to relate their own problems with the solutions being discussed.
The event was covered by local fortnightly magazine “Engineering Review, The Voice of Engineers”. Their staff conducted quite a few interviews to be published in their magazine.
